Sometimes I like to just play with bits of paper cut or torn out and draw around the pieces to complete the composition. The cut out pieces guide the colors and the marks around them. Most often than not natural references show up making them look like abstract landscapes or seascapes. Sometimes architectural beauty shines through making them look like cityscapes. I am calling them EScapes because many a times they are an escape for me to calm my mind.
